Samantha Palmer

Samantha enjoys working with clients that are navigating life transitions, couples experiencing communication difficulties, and anyone encountering difficulties with family dynamics and communication. She integrates evidence-based approaches, such as attachment-based therapy, and family systems theory. Samantha uses emotionally focused interventions to support clients in developing healthier relationships and greater emotional well-being.

Samantha recognizes that our relationships, experiences, and environments shape who we are. She works collaboratively with clients to better understand patterns in their relationships, improve communication, and build stronger emotional connections. Using a systemic and relational perspective in her approach to people and their support systems, her goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Samantha Palmer is a Marriage and Family Therapy intern who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families strengthen their relationships and navigate life’s challenges. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Science from Utah Valley University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Samantha works under the supervision of a licensed clinician and is committed to ongoing learning, ethical practice, and providing compassionate care.
